Sudeep 'doubly excited' for nephew Sanchith Sanjeev's debut

Kiccha Sudeep is a proud uncle as he welcomes his nephew Sanchith Sanjeev into the world of acting. Though Sanchith was formally launched in 2018 as the co-director of Ambi Ning Vayassaytho (which Sudeep produced), the upcoming project is being billed as his grand debut that's been due for quite some time.

To make things better, Sanchith Sanjeev will also be directing his debut acting vehicle which is titled Jimmy. Kiccha Sudeep fans and well-wishers have given the young actor-director a pleasant reception, with a number of them even terming him 'Kiccha Jr.'. A grand launch event held on June 15 will formally introduce the nephew to the rest of the world, with details regarding the project, too, likely to surface simultaneously.

But, for Sudeep, the occasion is special not only because his 'boy' gears up for his first full-fledged outing, but also because the film will mark the debut of his wife Priya Sudeep as a producer. Priya, who has been a huge pillar of support to Sudeep throughout his career, will be collaborating with KP Sreekanth's Venus Entertainers and Lahari Films under her banner of Supriyanvi Picture Studio. And although the banner was meant to make its debut much earlier, it would seem that things have finally aligned with Jimmy turning out to be its maiden venture.

In his previous conversation with OTTplay, Sudeep revealed that Kiccha Creations, the entity through which he has produced films in the past, is 'completely his baby' whereas Supriyanvi Picture Studio has his wife Priya Sudeep holding the reins. It isn't clear in what capacity would the new banner be involved in the development of 'Jimmy', but one hopes to learn more about the venture in the coming days.
