Kiccha Sudeep and Herschelle Gibbs gear up for KCC Season 4
Kiccha Sudeep and co. are set to bring the Kannada Chalanchitra Cup back for its fourth season. The previous season was a star-studded affair that unfolded over two days at Bengaluru's Chinnaswamy Stadium with the Daali Dhananjaya-led Ganga Warriors taking home the trophy. It helped the Warriors that Suresh Raina, the marquee player of the team, scored a superb fifty and even chipped in with the ball with two wickets. Upendra's Vijayanagara Patriots emerged as the runners-up at KCC Season 3.
KCC Season 3 saw some of the biggest names in international cricket, including Chris Gayle, Brian Lara, Herschelle Gibbs, Tilakaratne Dilshan, S. Badrinath and Suresh Raina, be part of the tournament with each of them assigned to a different team. While the line-up for the upcoming season is yet to be announced, former South African batter Herschelle Gibbs has confirmed his presence as he took to social media a short while to share the exciting news.

"See you in a few weeks for @kcc_league @KicchaSudeep," wrote Gibbs in his post, tagging Kiccha Sudeep himself. He also revealed in another tweet that he will be in Bengaluru between December 22 and 25th to suggest that the tournament would be held during that time.
The next crucial update would, of course, be the line-up of teams and players who will be part of KCC Season 4. The previous season saw Sudeep, Shiva Rajkumar, Ganesh, Dhananjaya, Dhruva Sarja and Upendra representing the industry and fans would love to all of them, along with a few new faces, returning to the fray. Similarly, one would like to see a new set of former international players added to the mix along with the ones that appeared in Season 3, just so as to make things more exciting.
Kannada Chalanchitra Cup is a T-20 format league that is split into four innings like in a Test match, with each team playing 10 overs alternatively. Will we see the format returning or will have another surprise in store? More updates to follow.
