Kiccha Sudeep is currently associated with three projects with filmmakers Anup Bhandari, Nanda Kishore and Venkat Prabhu, too, part of the mix
Kiccha Sudeep has been in the news for the past week or two and interestingly, his acting gigs aren't the reason. The 51-year-old actor recently announced that he would be campaigning for the current chief minister of Karnataka, Basavaraj Bommai, ahead of the 2023 state elections. He would participate in the grand roadshow in the town of Shiggaon (CM Bommai's chosen constituency to contest elections from) and just as expected, fans mobbed the streets to catch a glimpse of the superstar in his maiden political expedition.
While Sudeep's decision to side with a few select political candidates was met with mixed to negative feedback, the actor himself assured that he is reciprocating the support he once received and that by no means, he is linked to any particular political party.

On the work front, Kiccha Sudeep is currently associated with three projects and is expected to formally announce each of them in due time. The actor confirmed the same recently via social media but is yet to divulge the filmmakers involved in the development.
In this vein, the latest reports speculate that Sudeep is in talks with Tamil filmmaker Cheran for a possible collaboration in the future. While there isn't any basis for these speculations at the moment, fans and industry trackers have established a valid link between the two (Sudeep and Cheran) to justify the swirling rumours. Cheran directed the 2004 Tamil film Autograph which was remade in Kannada by Kiccha Sudeep himself as My Autograph in 2007. The film marked Sudeep's debut as a director and his performance as the leading man Shankar in the film is still regarded as one of his best by many.
Director Cheran won the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment for Autograph and three of his other films, Vetri Kodi Kattu Thavamai Thavamirundhu and Aadum Koothu, too, have won National Awards in different categories.
Kiccha Sudeep fans, however, aren't particularly kicked about this collaboration with many of them opining that the Vikrant Rona actor must opt to work with someone more contemporary and less "outdated".
Sudeep is also associated with filmmakers Anup Bhandari, Nanda Kishore and Venkat Prabhu for future projects.
