Kiara Advani enters YRF Spy Universe with Hrithik Roshan’s WAR 2

Kiara Advani has entered the YRF SPY Universe. This happens in the same year when Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan has become the biggest hit at the Box Office since years. Kiara has apparently been roped in by Aditya Chopra for his spy thriller, WAR 2.

The film also stars Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR in the main roles. While WAR was helmed by Pathaan director Siddharth Anand, WAR is being directed by Ayan Mukerji, last remembered for his directorial, Brahmastra.

A source spilled the tea and said, “Kiara Advani fits the bill to a T as far as YRF Spy Universe and WAR 2 is considered.” The Spy Universe includes all-time blockbuster films like Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, WAR and Pathaan.

The top superstars in Bollywood aka Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan, are a part of the franchise already. “Kiara is right now at the top of the heap and Adi taking her for WAR 2 loudly signifies that,” the little birdie added.

Whether Kiara would romance Hrithik or Jr. NTR in the film, is yet to be known. Either that or like many of the YRF Spy Universe heroines, she could pave her own path.

While WAR 2 is expected to bring Kiara Advani to the forth, out of the franchise, only one heroine has remained constant – Katrina Kaif as Zoya. In the franchise, she is the Pakistani agent married to the Indian agent who goes by the code name of Tiger (played by Salman).

The first installment of WAR saw Vaani Kapoor in a brief role. She romanced Hrithik and gave a memorable song in Ghungroo but her journey has likely ended with the first installment itself (Spoiler alert: They broke up in the film).

Pathaan featured Deepika Padukone in the lead role. She was seen romancing both, the protagonist played by Shah Rukh Khan as well as the antagonist played by John Abraham. Her return is still not confirmed but the possibility of her never returning to the franchise has not completely shut down.

The makers are yet to make an official announcement on WAR 2. The release date of the film, too, is still unknown.
