Khushi Kapoor will be reportedly seen alongside Junaid Khan in Love Today's Hindi remake. The film is expected to go on floors in April or May 2024.
Boney Kapoor and (late) Sridevi's daughter Khushi Kapoor made her acting debut with The Archies by Zoya Akhtar. Although The Archies wasn't successful, Khushi has two other projects lined up in the pipeline. She will be seen alongside Ibrahim Ali Khan in a movie, that will be released on OTT. And now it has been learned that Khushi will share screen space with Junaid Khan, son of Aamir Khan and his former wife Reena Dutta. The duo will star in the Hindi remake of the Tamil rom-com, Love Today.
In February 2023, it was confirmed that the Hindi remake of Love Today would be made. While the Tamil film featured Pradeep Ranganathan and Ivana, the Hindi version will reportedly star Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan. The movie will be directed by Laal Singh Chaddha filmmaker Advait Chandan and produced by Phantom Studios. The latest update is that the movie will go on floors this summer.
"The makers plan to roll the project around April-May. The final script is ready, and casting for supporting characters is underway. The film will be shot primarily in Delhi," a source told Mid-Day. The Hindi remake of Love Today is penned by Sneha Desai, who was one of the co-writers of Kiran Rao's Laapata Ladies.

Meanwhile, Aamir Khan's son Junaid Khan will be making his acting debut with an OTT film, Maharaj. The budding actor recently returned from Japan after 50 days. He will be seen alongside South actor Sai Pallavi in the movie, which is reportedly titled Ek Din. Siddharth P Malhotra will direct it.
As far as Khushi Kapoor is concerned, she has been shooting for her film with Ibrahim Ali Khan (Saif Ali Khan and his former wife Amrita Singh's son) for a while now. They were recently spotted on the set in Delhi. The duo shot for a sequence wherein they enjoyed having an ice cream.
