The actress is returning to Telugu cinema with Aadavallu Meeku Johaarlu this week
Looks like actor, politician Khushbu is back to doing films regularly without major breaks, at least this is what her film-signing spree in the recent past suggests. After impressing one and all with a sparkling cameo in Rajinikanth starrer Annatthe, she is making a comeback to Telugu cinema with Sharwanand-Rashmika Mandanna's family entertainer Aadavallu Meeku Johaarlu this weekend. Aadavallu Meeku Johaarlu is coming four years after she did Pawan Kalyan's Agnyathavaasi in 2018. Now, it's official that the actress has signed another Telugu film, this time actor Gopichand's next with director Sriwass.
The Gopichand-Sriwass project is backed by TG Vishwa Prasad of People Media Factory. A source close to the team confirms that Dimple Hayathi has been roped in as the female lead of the film. "The untitled film is officially commencing shoot today. A few scenes featuring Gopichand, Khushbu and Jagapathi Babu are being canned in Hyderabad," the source confirms. Khushbu is expected to play a strong role but it's not known if she is cast as the on-screen pair of Jagapathi Babu in the film.
People Media Factory, the producers, have backed several interesting projects lately. They made their digital debut with the impressive sci-fi thriller Kudi Yedamaithe starring Amala Paul and are also producing Ravi Teja, Sreeleela's action entertainer Dhamaka as well. Earlier in 2021, they backed a smartly made Raja Raja Chora as well and are also making Karthikeya 2 with Nikhil, Anupama Parameswaran, a film directed by Chandoo Mondeti. In addition, another project under the banner, Bloody Mary, also directed by Chandoo Mondeti, featuring Nivetha Pethuraj, is slated to release on aha shortly.
