Khufiya character posters: Wamiqa Gabbi calls Ali Fazal a traitor, the latter defends himself

The Vishal Bhardwaj directorial also stars Tabu in a pivotal role.

Khufiya is the upcoming neo-noir spy thriller film starring Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi and Ali Fazal in pivotal roles. Written, produced and directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, the Netflix movie is based on Amar Bhushan's espionage novel Escape to Nowhere. Ahead of the much-awaited official trailer release, the makers have dropped the chracter posters of Wamiqa and Ali which appear quite intriguing.

Makers dropped Wamiqa's motion poster that sees the actress looking intense in the image and calling Ali's character a 'traitor' in the background. Netflix India took to its official Instagram handle and shared the moving image with a special caption that reads, "Kaise ek picture perfect zindagi, ek perfect Khufiya mission mein badal jaati hai Witness her story soon! #Khufiya trailer drops TOMORROW, only on Netflix! (Sic)."

Meanwhile, the OTT giant collaborated with Ali on Instagram and shared his latest character poster that features him in a never seen before look wearing a giant signature spectacles. In the background, the Khufiya character can be seen defending himself after being called a traitor and saying, "My thinking is way ahead of everyone in this country. And that's my crime."

Khufiya on Netflix

Bankrolled by VB Pictures in association with Netflix, the forthcoming flick also features Ashish Vidyarthi, Atul Kulkarni, Navnindra Behl, Shataf Figar Azmeri, Haque Badhon, Lalit Parimoo and Rahul Vohra in key roles. Khufiya is slated to be out on 5 October 2023 on Netflix.
