Khatron Ke Khiladi 12: Rubina Dilaik reveals how she confronted her ‘biggest fear’ on Rohit Shetty's show

Rubina’s husband Abhinav Shukla had been a contestant on the show in its previous season.

Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 seems to be holding true to its name, even after 12 daunting seasons. Actress Rubina Dilaik, who is a contestant on the show in its new season, revealed that she had confronted one of her ‘biggest fears’ on Rohit Shetty’s show.

In conversation with The Tribune India, Rubina spoke of how one couldn't really prepare for the show, as it mostly involved thinking on one’s feet and reacting to high pressure situations. She revealed that she had already finished a stunt in which she had to face her biggest fear. The actress said that she was terrified of ‘creepy crawlies’, and one of the stunts she had to do involved them. “You give me any other stunt to perform, I won’t feel the jitters, but during the stunts with creepy crawlies it was terrifying”, she said.

The actress’ husband Abhinav Shukla had been a contestant on the series in its previous season, Khatron Ke Khiladi 11. Asked whether her husband gave her any advice, Rubina said that Abhinav had told her any advice he gave would prove useless. Abhinav had his own set of limitations, strengths and fears, while Rubina had her own. So the actress had to experience the show and its stunts in her own way, as there was no formula for the same to be learnt. She also added that she felt more pressured ever since Rohit Shetty called her one of the strongest contestants on the show.

Rubina said that the show only had ‘healthy competition’ between the contestants, where they all both competed and cheered for each other. The competition only helped the contestants learn and grow.

Other contestants on the show include Kanika Mann, Jannat Zubair, Chetna Pande, Sriti Jha, Mohit Malik, Nishant Bhat, Faizal Shaikh, Pratik Sehajpal, Tushar Kalia, Shivangi Joshi, and Rajiv Adatia.

Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 premiered on July 2, and can be streamed on Voot.
