Khatron Ke Khiladi 12: Rohit Shetty's show sees Erika Packard as first eliminated contestant; fans praise her spirit

Khatron Ke Khiladi season 12 began with a bang on Saturday and some thrilling tasks for the celebrities. The Rohit Shetty-hosted reality TV series is currently being shot in Cape Town. Meanwhile, out of all the contestants, Erica Packard became the first one to get eliminated from the show.

Erika Packard is the daughter of actor Gavin Packard, who has mostly been seen playing negative characters in Indian films. As her very first task, the young actor-model was assigned to do a stunt opposite the Bigg Boss OTT fame Nishant Bhat.

Even though Erika gave a power-packed performance during the task, it was Nishant, who performed the stunt like a pro and bagged the round. Post her first task, the diva was given another chance to fight against Mohit Malik and Tushar Kalia but ended up losing to both.

Her last few defeats landed Erika in the elimination round, where she got one last chance to fight and keep her foot in the show. However, she failed to finish the final task and lost it to Jannat Zubair and Aneri Vajani and got eliminated.

The few Khatron Ke Khiladi season 12 fans praised the celebs for their spirit in the game and also praised them on their social media handles.

Some of the admirers praised Erica as well for her spirit for keep fighting in the show till the end even after she suffered injuries.

One of the Twitter posts by a fan reads, "Tbh I didn't really like #KanikaMann's entry but she performed well and even won the task. #AneriVajani seems like a sweet girl to me. Sure, she'll do well. #NishantBhatt also used a lot of strength in his task and won it. Kudos. Better luck next time #ErikaPackard. #KKK12 (sic)."

The ace filmmaker is hosting the daredevil show for the seventh time this year, while earlier Khatron Ke Khiladi has been hosted by multiple celebrities including Akshay Kumar.

Talking about the contestants, Season 12 has some of the most famous faces of Indian television including Rubina Dilaik, Sriti Jha, Shivangi Joshi, Aneri Vajani, Jannat Zubair, Kanika Mann, Pratik Sehajpal, Mohit Malik, Tushar Kalia, Chetna Pande, Rajiv Adatia, Nishant Bhat, Kanika Mann among others.

Khatron Ke Khiladi season 12 is available to watch every Saturday and Sunday on the Colors TV channel. Meanwhile, fans can also stream it online on Voot.
