KH 234: Trisha, Jayam Ravi and Dulquer Salmaan to be part of Kamal Haasan's film with Mani Ratnam?

Kamal Haasan might be yet to begin work on his next with director H Vinoth, which is tentatively being referred to as KH 234, but it looks like buzz about his upcoming project with Mani Ratnam is already doing the rounds. The film, which is being called KH 234 for now, marks the comeback of the iconic Nayakan duo after a span of three decades.

KH 234 to have a star-studded duo?
If social media is to be believed, the film is likely to have Trisha as the leading lady. Now, we hear that Jayam Ravi and Dulquer Salmaan, too, are likely to be part of the film and the duo have been approached by the makers. The film was announced ahead of Kamal Haasan's birthday last year and it took everyone by surprise. An official announcement of the cast is yet to be made.

The last time the duo had worked together was in the 1987 film, Nayakan.KH 234 will presented by Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies, and the project will be bankrolled by Raaj Kamal Films International (RKFI), Mani Ratnam, R Mahendran and Siva Ananth. Kamal Haasan had shared his excitement about working in the film, in a statement. “Working with like-minded individuals is stimulating. Looking forward to presenting this project along with Udhayanidhi Stalin.”

Udhayanidhi Stalin stated that working with the duo was a huge honour. “It is an honour for me to join hands with both Mani sir and Kamal sir. They are the pride of Tamil cinema."

In the meantime, the Ulaganayagan is all set to begin work on his next project with Thunivu director H Vinoth. The shoot is likely to begin in October and Kamal Haasan has begun prepping for his character. In a recent video, dropped by the actor, he was practicing shooting at a rifle club. The video was titled 'Guts and Guns' . The project's 'Rise to Rule', hints at the film being a political drama. KH 233 is bankrolled by Raaj Kamal Productions and marks their 52nd project.
