KH 233: Kamal Haasan's next with H Vinoth set against Army backdrop, shoot likely to begin in October

Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan is all set to team up with director H Vinoth for his next. The film, which is tentatively being referred to as KH 233, will mark the maiden collaboration of the duo and expectations are high from the film.

Shoot to begin in October
The latest we hear about the film is that the shoot is likely to begin in October. According to a recent report in Cinema Vikatan, the film is said to have two important pan-India artistes as part of the star cast. Speculations are rife about Vijay Sethupathi being part of the film. It is to be noted that Vijay Sethupathi had shared screen space with Kamal Haasan in Lokesh Kanagaraj's Vikram as well. The film is slated to release by 2024-end. Kamal Haasan is likely to begin work on the film after the launch of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 7.

Kamal Haasan undergoes shooting training
The Ulaganayagan had recently dropped a surprise update on his social media handle. In a video that she shared, the actor is seen practicing shooting at a rifle club and firing away. The video was titled 'Guts and Guns' and the makers also used hashtags like #Training Begins, #FuriousAction and #RISEtoRULE.  The film is said to be a heavy-duty action entertainer.

KH 233, a political drama?
The project's 'Rise to Rule', hints at the film being a political drama. KH 233 is bankrolled by Raaj Kamal Productions and marks their 52nd project. The promo video of the film resembles Kamal Haasan's political journey. While the actor is seen carrying a fire torch in the video, the symbol of the actor's political party is torch. The makers are yet to reveal the cast and crew details.

Kamal Haasan awaiting Indian 2 release
The Ulaganayagan has wrapped the shooting for Shankar's Indian 2 and the film is currently under post production. The latest we hear is that Indian 2 will hit screens for Independence Day, 2024.
