Filmmaker Santhosh Ananddram's next with veteran actor Jaggesh is all set for a theatrical release. The slice-of-life comedy-drama, titled Raghavendra Stores will release in cinema halls on August 5 which happens to be the auspicious day of Varamahalakshmi. Hombale Films, the makers of KGF: Chapter 2, have bankrolled this one to mark their third collaboration with Santhosh Ananddram (after Raajakumaara and Yuvarathnaa).

Actor Jaggesh collaborates with the director for the first but his connection with Santhosh Ananddram goes back a long time. The latter is said to have worked as an assistant director on the Jaggesh-starrer Agraja (directed by Srinandan) and the veteran actor revealed in a social event that the two share great camaraderie in real life. Another online report suggests that the mutual Mantralaya connect too encouraged Jaggesh and Santhosh Ananddram to join forces for they are both ardent devotees of Raghavendra Swamy. The production of Raghavendra Stores began in the third week of November, 2021, and the team did not need much time to wrap things up. The film has been shot in multiple locations across Karnataka.

Shwetha Srivatsav too stars in the film and will be seen paired with Jaggesh for the very first time in her career. Having impressed everyone with her performance in Suni's 'Simpallagi Ond Love Story' (opposite Rakshit Shetty), Shwetha took a break from acting to focus on her personal life but is now back with Raghavendra Stores and fans can certainly look forward to her on-screen chemistry with Jaggesh.

Raghavendra Stores is part of the upcoming slew of releases from Hombale Films' repertoire. Not very long ago, Vijay Kiragandur divulged that the production house has as many as 14 films in the offing with two of them being bonafide pan-India ventures. The team is also said to be focusing on films of all scales and nature and has backed Rishab Shetty's fantasy-adventure film Kantara as well.
