The monumental success of K.G.F: Chapter 2 seems to have galvanized Hombale Films. The Kannada film production house, led by Vijay Kiragandur, has recently confirmed that as many as fourteen projects are currently in development and two of them will be bonafide pan-Indian films. Vijay Karagandur, while speaking to Indiatoday.in, revealed that the upcoming slew of films will be spread out over the next three years whereas the pan-Indian projects are currently slated to release in 2024 and 2025 respectively. He went on to add that both the major projects will feature universal and commercial themes similar to that of the KGF films and that the first of the two will be announced in August/September of 2024.

The massive success of KGF: Chapter 2 at the global box office can be cited as the main boost in confidence for Vijay Kiragandur and Hombale Films. The production house, despite being less than a decade old, has grown in leaps and bounds over the last few years and is now in the reckoning as one of the biggest in the country today. There's the Kannada-Telugu bilingual Salaar starring Prabhas and Shruti Haasan, that kickstarted their crossover campaign and as they continue gaining traction, one can expect more pan-Indian superstars to be part of their ecosystem. Hombale Films also has films of smaller-scale like Kanthara and Raghavendra Stores in the list of releases, to prove that they are pursuing the entire range.

Speaking about the relevant North vs South topic, Vijay Kiragandur said in the same interview that he doesn't believe a barrier exists between the two regions and that there has always been mutual appreciation. He added that Hindi films like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 are doing really well in Southern India which only proves that the audience is interested in content and nothing else. Many would be aware of the fact that the Hindi version of 'KGF: Chapter 2' saw unprecedented success at the box office and even holds the all-time record for opening day collections, beating 'War' in its pursuits.
