KGF: Chapter 2 Box Office Collection Day 3: Yash’s film is predicted to have a ‘record-smashing weekend’

The hype for Yash's film KGF: Chapter 2 was already strong with fans eager to secure early seats, despite the early morning show timings and heavy ticket pricing. The film did well at the box office after its premiere on April 14, 2022, garnering close to Rs 135 crore on Day 1.

So far, the response to the film, which was released in Kannada, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Telugu, has been tremendous and the movie collections have been outstanding. The Hindi version of the film also shattered multiple records, becoming the biggest opener and entering the Rs 100 crore club in just two days. In terms of all languages, the total after Day 2 stands at Rs 207 crores. It is being predicted that Day 3 will be no less and the film is inching closer to Rs 300 crore gross. The early booking data indicated that the picture will have a massively successful weekend. The picture is living up to expectations, grossing another 80-82 crores on its first Saturday.

KGF: Chapter 2, directed by Prashant Neel is the sequel to the 2018 movie, KGF. It is running in about 10,000 screens globally and about 6,500 screens across India in total. The Hindi version alone is running in over 4,000 screens.

Meanwhile, Yash returns as Rocky Bhai in the movie. The film has Sanjay Dutta as the antagonist, Adheera in the gangster drama. It also features Prakash Raj, Srinidhi Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Rao Ramesh, and Easwari Rao in supporting roles.

The film is also penned by Prashanth Neel. It is produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Films.
