Tharun Bhascker has spoken about working on a script for senior actor Venkatesh and that he is striving hard to arrive at a better ending/climax for that story
Tharun Bhascker might have gained popularity over the years for his work with newcomers but one knows that he would be equally capable of delivering something exciting with a senior actor. One such project that has been in the realm is with Victory Venkatesh himself, but there has been very little development in this regard over the last year or two.
The Keedaa Cola director has not refrained from speaking about it, granted, but he is evidently not in the position at the moment to shed more light on its development.

So, does that mean it's shelved? Well, Tharun Bhascker suggests that the Venkatesh project is still very much on and that he is willing to take it on floors sooner rather than later. The only caveat, though, is that he reckons he must wait to see how well Keedaa Cola fares before fully committing to it.
Speaking to a Telugu media outlet recently, the actor-filmmaker said that despite the central idea being "interesting", he wasn't convinced with the ending or the climax of the story all along the writing process. He adds that while Suresh Babu, the producer and Venkatesh's older brother, was satisfied with what he had arrived at, Tharun Bhascker himself wasn't ready to go ahead. However, the good news is that he is finally "ready" and that once he sees through Keedaa Cola in its theatrical run, he will plan accordingly.
Needless to say, the Telugu cinema patrons would be thrilled to know that two distinct yet equally entertaining voices are coming together. The only question, though, is the timing of it all but one hopes to see things aligning sooner than later.

But for now, the focus shall remain on Keedaa Cola, which marks Tharun's return to the helm after a gap of more than 5 years. This time around, too, he has an enterprising cast, a blend of youth and experience, at the centre and the film's trailer promises a Guy Richie-esque crime comedy, but with all the quintessence of the writer-director. Keedaa Cola is in theatres on November 3.
