KBC 14: ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ Aamir Khan to join Amitabh Bachchan at grand premiere of the popular reality show

Aamir Khan was last seen in a full-fledged role in Thugs Of Hindostan, co-starring Amitabh Bachchan.

Aamir Khan is going to join Amitabh Bachchan at the grand premiere of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) 14. The actor will be promoting his upcoming movie Laal Singh Chaddha on the popular reality show. Whether Aamir will just visit the sets to promote his film or actually play with Amitabh Bachchan, remains to be seen.

Since Aamir’s film is just a month away from release, the actor will start promotions and it looks like Amitabh Bachchan in KBC 14 will be the first. Indian Express reports that Aamir will join the team in introducing the very first guests on the show.

Interestingly, Aamir’s last released film which saw him in a full-fledged role was Thugs of Hindostan with Amitabh Bachchan. Aamir shares a lot of fond memories with Big B, especially that of smoking up a pipe. For some time, Aamir was seen smoking a pipe even during his film’s promotions.

Meanwhile, Laal Singh Chaddha is the official Hindi adaptation of Tom Hanks’ critically-acclaimed Hollywood film, Forrest Gump. The movie will see Aamir in the role of a Punjabi who is slow at learning but is in the army and has his morals right.

The Advait Chandan directorial stars Kareena Kapoor Khan as his love interest. Mona Singh is also a part of the film as his mother. Apart from them, the movie also marks the Bollywood debut for Akkineni Nagarjuna’s son and Samantha’s ex-husband, Naga Chaitanya.

KBC 14 has also made headlines for the newest prize money. The show has seen a rise in the prize money from Rs. 7 crores to Rs. 7.50 crores.

In addition to that, if any contestant wins Rs. 1 crore and wishes to pursue Rs. 7.5 crores, if that contestant fails to answer any right question after that stage, he would still take Rs. 75 lakhs home.
