Kavin's latest outing Dada has already completed 50 days at the box office. The film, which opened to positive reviews from critics and audience alike, is doing well after its digital release as well. Actor Kavin took to his social media handle to share his excitement and stated that it's time to celebrate cinema.

He wrote on his social media handle, "Can't express how grateful I am to everyone who made this possible - people who came out to watch it, the crew who worked tirelessly behind the scenes - press, media, theater owners who supported us. Dada is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video and fans of the actor can't be more excited. The film, directed by debutant Ganesh K Babu, has Aparna Das playing the leading lady. The film's plot revolves around a young couple who get separated after their son is born and the father (played by Kavin) is entrusted with the responsibility of taking care of the child on his own. The film also delves into the challenges of single parenting.
Veteran actor Prabhu deva who recently watched Dada is also all praise for the film. He wrote on his social media handle, "Just watched dada Tamil film , the director has done a wonderful job , heroine superb hero too good , Dop dialogues wow , full team excellent watch it u all will love it (sic)."
In the meantime, Prabhu deva's last release Bagheera hit recently.

The film, directed by Adhik Ravichandran has almost half-a-dozen female leads which includes Amyra Dastur, Gayathrie, Sakshi Agarwal, Ramya Nambeesan, Sanchita Shetty and Janani. However, despite all the hype, the film opened to negative reviews and tanked at the box office.
