Kavin drops update on Star, Dada-fame actor completes dubbing

Actor Kavin is one of the most happening young stars in the Tamil film industry. After he scripted success with his film Dada which released last year, all eyes are now on his upcoming film titled Star. On Wednesday, the actor revealed that he has completed dubbing for his film.
Star is directed by filmmaker Elan, who previously helmed Pyaar Prema Kadhal. With dubbing done, the makers are soon expected to announce the release date of the film.

Actor Kavin is someone who enjoys a massive fanbase even though he has done only a handful of films. The actor, who started his career in television, is one of the promising, upcoming actors in Tamil. The actor was last seen in Dada, playing the role of a single father. Up next, Kavin is working with Elan for a film titled Star. It will be set against the backdrop of the movie industry and will show the struggles and rise of an actor.
On Wednesday, Kavin dropped an update about the film. Sharing a silhouette of himself in a dubbing studio, he revealed that the dubbing has been wrapped up. The makers have left no stone unturned to make the audience enthralled about the film by releasing songs from Star.

Star was initially launched with actor Harish Kalyan. The makers had released posters of the actor resembling the iconic looks of Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan from their yesteryear films. However, after Harish Kalyan opted out, Kavin was roped in.
Star will feature Aaditi S Pohankar and Preity Mukhundhan as the female leads, with Yuvan Shankar Raja scoring the music. Geetha Kailasam and Lal also play prominent parts in the film. The post-theatrical rights have been bagged by Amazon Prime Video. The film is produced by BVSN Prasad and Sreenidhi Sagar. A release date for the film is yet to be announced by the makers.
