Actor Kavin, who is gradually tasting success and becoming one of the promising actors of the Tamil cinema, has been carefully building up his line-up of films. If reports are to be believed, Kavin is set to star with Nayanthara in one of his upcoming films which will be helmed by a debutant director. Read on to know further about the project.
Kavin, who was last seen in Star, is set to team up with Nayanthara. As per reports, the film will be directed by filmmaker Vishnu Edavan who has worked as lyricist with Lokesh Kanagaraj in films like Kaithi and Master. 7 Screen Studio is said to be backing the project. However, an official announcement on the same is yet to be made by the team. If the news is indeed true, then it will mark the first time Kavin and Nayanthara will be seen together onscreen. Vishnu Edavan has penned songs like Naa Ready, Porkanda Singam, and Anbenum, to name a few.
Kavin was last seen in Star, directed by Elan. The film is currently running in theatres and is about an aspiring actor. Recently, Kavin announced a couple of projects. The actor has a film with choreographer-turned-director Sathish in which Preethi Asrani will play the female lead. The film is rumoured to be titled Kiss. Kavin also announced a film titled Bloody Beggar which will be directed by Sivabalan and bankrolled by Nelson Dilipkumar. Apart from this, Kavin will also be starring in Mask co-featuring Andrea Jeremiah. The film will be produced by Vetrimaaran and directed by his former assistant Vikarnan Ashokan.

Nayanthara has three films in the making. In Tamil, she has Test, a cricket-based film featuring Madhavan and Siddharth and Mannangatti Since 1960. She will also be featuring alongside Nivin Pauly in the Malayalam film Dear Students. The actor is also in contention to play late vocalist MS Subbulakshmi in the latter's biopic.
