Actor Kavin, who was recently seen in Star, has already become of the promising actors of Tamil cinema. While only a few weeks before he announced a film titled Bloody Beggar, Kavin on Friday, unveiled his next project Kavin 07. Titled Mask, the film will also feature actor-singer Andrea Jeremiah as the female lead.

The makers of Mask took to social media on Friday to announce the launch of the film. The upcoming film will be helmed by Vikarnan Ashokan, an erstwhile assistant of director Vetrimaaran. Andrea Jeremiah will be playing the female lead in the film, marking her first collaboration with the actor.

Mask is set to be backed by Vetrimaaran under his production banner Grass Root Films. It is to be noted that in the recently released Star, in which Kavin plays an aspiring actor, director Vetrimaaran played a cameo and appeared as himself in a crucial portion of the film.

The film will have music by GV Prakash Kumar and RD Rajasekar ISC will be cranking the camera for Mask. Jackson is the art director.

Kavin took to his social media handle and wrote, “So this happened… :) Double thank you, #Vetri sir. For taking the time to grace us with your presence in our movie “Star”. For breathing life into our fiction and making it a captivating reality. #TheUniverseDoesFallInLoveWithAStubbornHeart :) Proud to be associated with “The” Vetri sir.”

Meanwhile, apart from Mask, Kavin has two films in the line-up. He is working with dancer-turned-filmmaker Sathish for an upcoming film. Rumoured to be titled Kiss, the film will feature Preethi Asrani as the female lead.

Kavin also has a film titled Bloody Beggar directed by Sivabalan. The film will be bankrolled by director Nelson Dilipkumar. Kavin’s Star is directed by Elan and is currently running in theatres. He plays Kalai, a middle-class boy who aspires to be an actor.
