Amitabh Bachchan is set to return to the show.
It has been 23 years since Kaun Banega Crorepati, a popular TV game show, has been airing on Indian television. Presently, the show's makers are preparing for its sixteenth season with the iconic Amitabh Bachchan as the host again. The exciting news was recently shared with the KBC fans by Sony Entertainment Television on their official Instagram page.
Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 16 update
The promotional video shared by Sony Entertainment Television today started with a moving speech by Amitabh from the end of the last season. But as it ended, a voice added, “Every beginning is bound to have an end, but the happiness in the love of loved ones ensures a new beginning after every end.” He also said, “If the sound of your love echoes, I will have to return.”
The makers also revealed that the registration for KBC 16 will commence on April 26. “Aisa mila pyar ki laut raha hai fir ek baar (There was so much love that we've come back once again) #KaunBanegaCrorepati.. shuru ho rahe hai #KBCRegistrations 26 April raat 9 baje (The registrations start 9 pm on April 26) @amitabhbachchan #KBConSonyTV #KBC16 #kbcisback,” read the caption of the post.

Highlights of Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 15
In the 15th season of KBC, retired Squadron Leader Sushmita Sahay began the competition as the first contestant. Jaskaran Singh, who dreams of joining the Indian Administrative Service, became the first 1 crore winner of the season on September 5, 2023. Soon after, Jasnil Kumar also joined the 1 crore winners' club on September 21, 2023. In December 2023, The Double Dip and Video-Call-a-Friend lifelines were replaced by Flip the Question and Ask the Expert during Kids Week Specials. The season ended with its last episode airing on December 29, 2023.
