Katrina Kaif, Vijay Sethupathi begins second schedule of Merry Christmas in Mumbai

The actors returned to work for the movie after Holi and is seen filming inside a studio set in Mumbai

Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif are teaming up for a movie helmed by Sriram Raghavan. The latest report is that the two stars have begun the second schedule of the movie in Mumbai.

According to a report by Mid-Day, the two stars will be filming for the project in a studio in Mumbai. The makers have built a house for the filming, where the actors have been shooting in a bathroom for the past few days.

A source close to the project revealed that the crime drama is about some events that turn the protagonists’ word upside down. The source also said that both the characters will have morally ambiguous characters, something that has been used by the director in his previous work.

Co-producer Ramesh Taurani said, “We will wind up the second schedule in April, after which the final leg will be filmed in May and June. The entire movie will be shot in Mumbai, on sets as well as at live locations.”

The producer also added that Vijay Sethupathi is a superstar but off camera, the actor is down to earth.

Katrina Kaif was last seen in Akshay Kumar’s action thriller Sooryavanshi, directed by Rohit Shetty. The actor is also working on Tiger 3 co-starring Salman Khan.

Vijay Sethupathi, who was last seen in Kadaisi Vivasayi, has a long list of movies in the pipeline. He will be seen in Vignesh Shivan’s Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Vikram and Mumbaikaar, directed by Santosh Sivan.
