Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif, one of Bollywood's most adored couples, have been married for nearly two years. The Sam Bahadur actor frequently talks about his feelings for his wife and shares stories about their lives together. Katrina recently discussed her marriage to Vicky and her upbringing in a big family with six sisters at the Red Sea Film Festival.

Wedding plans amidst the pandemic

Katrina spoke about her marriage to Vicky Kaushal by stating that the couple had to put off planning their wedding because of the COVID-19 lockdown. Katrina said she was nervous about calling her whole family together due to the pandemic regulations, but that they managed to pull it off and had a good time.

The couple was attempting to arrange their wedding when the globe was beginning to open up, she explained. Her entire family travelled from different parts of the world, fulfilling her hope of having all their relatives present at the wedding. This was fantastic, especially considering the wait for the lockdowns to be lifted.

Katrina Kaif's childhood in a big family

Katrina spoke about her big family and her six sisters' experiences growing up. With six girls, she said, there was a lot of bickering and yelling over mirror placement, hairbrushes, and combs. But they could braid each other's hair like pros. Also, she announced that her sisters had become her support system. They don't require anybody else because they are an isolated group. Anyone is welcome, but it truly seems complete when they are all there.

Meanwhile, Katrina is riding high on the success of Tiger 3 where she reprised the iconic role of Zoya. Katrina received applause for her performances and for showcasing her action prowess.

Sriram Raghavan-directed Merry Christmas is her upcoming film, which also features Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role. The film was shot simultaneously in Hindi and Tamil.
