During the announcement, Kate revealed that she is currently in the initial stages of a preventive chemotherapy course after following the advice of her medical team of doctors. She also shared how Prince William has been a pillar of comfort and reassurance to her, as they are presently focusing on 'managing this situation privately for the well-being of their young family.’

Sharing the incredible tough phase of her life, Kate recalled how she and Prince William dealt with the challenging news as they informed their children Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5, of the diagnosis, along with the reassurance of Kate’s health.

The recent announcement comes amid weeks of worldwide speculation and intrigue surrounding the Princess of Wales’ health. In January, the Duchess underwent an abdominal surgery in London that was previously believed to be non-malignant. However, after the surgery, some other tests showed the presence of cancer. Kate further revealed that she is taking some time to recover from her surgery before getting into the other medications.
"In January, I had a significant abdominal surgery in London, initially believed to be non-cancerous. The surgery was successful, but post-operative tests revealed the presence of cancer. Consequently, my medical team recommended a preventive chemotherapy treatment, which I've now begun," Kate shared in the video.
