Kartik Aaryan starrer 'Chandu Champion' to be released in June on Eid 2024
Finally, it is confirmed! After the success of SatyaPrem Ki Katha Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan is all set to work again with producer Sajid Nadiadwala for a movie titled, Chandu Champion. This movie will be directed by ace filmmaker Kabir Khan.
Confirming the development in a press statement today, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment said, “The three powerhouses of the industry, ace producer Sajid Nadiadwala, prolific director Kabir Khan, and superstar Kartik Aaryan, are ready to bring a massive entertainer on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. They are planning to rejoice the festival in June 2024 with yet another titled 'Chandu Champion', a film based on the extraordinary real-life story of not giving up. The trio has kept the excitement of the audience on the edge with the announcement earlier. The massive-scale canvas film will be released on Eid al-Adha 2024.”
Reports suggest that this upcoming movie will be a sports drama based on the life of Indian cricketer Chandrasekhar Trimbak Sarwate, popularly known as Chandu. Chandrasekhar passed away in Indore in the year 2003 at the age of 83.
Rejoicing about the announcement, Kartik Aaryan couldn’t control his happiness and tweeted, “Chandu nahi … Champion hai main.. #ChanduChampion - 14th June 2024 #SajidNadiadwala @kabirkhankk @NGEMovies @WardaNadiadwala”
Reacting to the development, a Twitter user commented on the post and said, “Sattu to Chandu, itne jaldi!” Kartik Aaryan essayed the role of Sattu in the superhit movie titled SatyaPrem Ki Katha.
Another Twitter user said, “Best wishes. Another great movie in the pipeline @TheAaryanKartik #KartikAaryan waiting to see you, Champion.”
One more Twitter user said, “Our Shehzada is now a Champion.” In February this year, Kartik also featured in a movie named Shehzada which was a moderate success at the box office.
Meanwhile, Kartik starrer SatyaPrem Ki Katha continues to mint money at the theatres. So far, the movie has earned about Rs 50 crores in just five days.
