Kartik Aaryan and Sameer Vidwans to reunite for a love story after Satyaprem Ki Katha? Here's what we know

Kartik Aaryan teams up with Sameer Vidwans once again, but the duo is still on the hunt for a producer.

After Satyaprem Ki Katha (2023) achieved phenomenal success at the box office, rumours quickly spread that Sameer Vidwans and Kartik Aaryan were planning to reunite. They appear to have finally uncovered the story they were hoping for, even though it's been almost a year. Midday has discovered that they are actively seeking a producer for a love story that they have settled on.

Kartik Aaryan's request for another romantic drama

A reliable source has revealed to the tabloid that Kartik was so enamoured with Sameer on the set of Satyaprem Ki Katha that he requested that Sameer find him another romantic drama script to star in. The filmmaker recently presented a script that captivated the actor.

Producer Sajid Nadiadwala of Satyaprem Ki Katha was naturally their top choice for the collaboration. They were excited to work with Sajid and bring back the magic of their debut outing, the insider said. This seemed like the ideal opportunity for Sameer to work with the producer again, as they had already inked a two-film deal. Unfortunately, Sajid turned down the offer because he has four films scheduled for next year: Sikandar starring Salman Khan; Housefull 5, starring Akshay Kumar; Baaghi 4, starring Tiger Shroff; and a film on Hussain Ustara made by Vishal Bhardwaj starring Shahid Kapoor. After that, the director-actor duo started looking for studios, but they didn't have much luck.

Kartik Aaryan's future projects remain unclear

After delivering a smashing performance in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 Kartik has been mum about his future plans. It is unclear at this time if the actor's love drama helmed by Anurag Basu and produced by Bhushan Kumar will be an installment in the Aashiqui series or an independent feature film. The 2019 Pati Patni Aur Woh will soon have a sequel. Therefore, the release date of the actor's film with Sameer is an open question.

The insider, however, is certain that it will materialise soon. The source went on to say that Sameer and Kartik's bond is deeper than that of a director and actor; their friendship goes back many years. As an ambitious performer, the actor will see to it that this idea takes shape.
