‘Kartik Aaryan is a thorough professional,’ say Shehzada makers after comments from Manish Shah

Kartik Aaryan has been in the news again recently, but not for the right reasons. He was accused by producer Manish Shah of Goldmines, of being unprofessional as he allegedly also threatened to leave the filming of his upcoming movie, Shehzada.

Manish Shah said in an interview with India Today that the actor threatened to quit the project if the Hindi dubbed version of Allu Arjun's Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo released in theatres.

Now according to the latest news, the co-producer and director of Shehzada have released a statement, taking back his earlier accusations, saying that the actor never threatened to quit the project.

"We, the producers, felt that Shehzada should release in theatre first and not the Hindi version of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, hence we requested Goldmines not to release the Hindi version, and release of the film is always the producers decision and not actor, ” said Bhushan Kumar in a statement.

He further added that he has known Aaryan since the beginning of his career as they have done multiple movies together and that he is one of the most professional actors he has worked with.

The director of the remake also came in support of the actor and said that his intent and excitement for the project is unquestionable and that it has been a joy working with him.

Directed by Rohit Dhawan and starring Kriti Sanon, Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, Ronit Roy and Sachin Khedekar, among others, the movie is the official Hindi remake of the Telugu movie Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.

Meanwhile, the telugu movie was written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas. It also starred Pooja Hegde, Tabu, Jayaram and Sushanth, among others. The movie was a big hit following its release.
