Kartik Aaryan is set to headline the third installment of the Aashiqui franchise. Anurag Basu will serve as the director, and Bhushan Kumar and Mukesh Bhatt will serve as producers. The film's female protagonist has not yet been revealed, but Kartik's most recent romantic outing with Student of the Year 2 actor Tara Sutaria has reignited speculation that the two are working on the project together.

After being seen together at a dinner date, Kartik Aaryan and Tara Sutaria fueled the collaboration rumor. On Saturday evening, Tara and Kartik were spotted separately leaving the same hotel by paparazzi. Tara was spotted sporting an animal-print skirt and a black tube top. Kartik, on the other hand, was seen donning a pair of black pants and a white shirt. However, while leaving the restaurant together, the two actors were seen sharing a warm hug.

Kartik Aaryan's work front

Kartik Aaryan is presently occupied with the filming of Kabir Khan's directorial Chandu Champion, an upcoming period drama in which he plays an injured soldier who later becomes India's first-ever Paralympic gold winner. The film is scheduled to release on July 14, 2024. The actor is also anticipated to begin filming for the upcoming love drama Aashiqui 3 after finishing the current production.

Tara Sutaria's work front

Tara Sutaria has a number of exciting projects in the works. The actress just revealed the title of her new survival thriller, Apurva. The actress is also said to be the female lead for Aashiqui 3.

Starring Kartik Aaryan, Aashiqui 3 will be directed by Anurag Basu and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Mukesh Bhatt. The third part of the popular franchise was officially announced in September 2022.
