Karthikeya was a smash hit and gave Nikhil Siddhartha a solid hit in his career. Years later, when Nikhil's career was in the doldrums, he teamed up with Chandoo Mondeti yet again for Karthikeya 2. The film ended as a massive hit and gave a new lease of life to Nikhil and Anupama Parameswaran as the young actress is now doing four films in Telugu and is one of the busiest heroines.
Well, at the end of Karthikeya 2, the makers left a lead open for the third part. Now, the news is that the third part is indeed on and this was confirmed by Nikhil himself on social media. “Dr. Karthikeya In Search of a Brand New Adventure. Soon @chandoomondeti #Karthikeya3 #Karthikeya2 #cinema #adventure,” posted Nikhil.

Karthikeya 3 budget details
As of now, Nikhil is busy with a war drama titled Swayambhu where Nikhil plays a young prince and the shoot is happening at a brisk pace. Karthikeya 2 was produced by Abhishek Agarwal and T G Vishwa Prasad on a huge budget and the news now is that Karthikeya 3 will be made on a massive budget of close to Rs 100 crore and will be released on a Pan-India level.
The second part did quite well in the northern belt as it made Rs 54 crore in its final run. Nikhil has pinned all his hopes on this film as it is his career's biggest to date. It was Chandoo Mondeti who gave him the film, Karthikeya, and the duo are now teaming up for Karthikeya 3.
Karthikeya 3 release date
As of now, Chandoo Mondeti is busy shooting for his new film Thandel which has Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi as the main leads. Once he is done with this film, he will start Karthikeya 3 in the last quarter of 2024. The makers are looking at a summer 2025 release. Watch this space for more updates on this project.
