Kareena Kapoor Khan spends time with Kalimpong locals, West Bengal Police while shooting for Sujoy Ghosh’s next directorial

Kareena Kapoor Khan has begun filming Sujoy Ghosh's next film, The Devotion of Suspect X in Kalimpong, West Bengal. Kareena will make her OTT debut in Netflix with Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma in this movie. The shoot at Kalimpong has already been going on for several days, and Kareena has managed to make the most out of it. The actress was witnessed visiting the women of Kalimpong and interacting with them.

On social networking sites, multiple images from Kareena's visit to a local family's home have gathered attention. The Jab We Met actress is seen seated and smiling alongside a group of women while they present her with a traditional gift in the snaps. Apart from talking to women, Kareena also met the West Bengal Police and posed for pictures with them all.

Last week, the star began filming for Sujoy's film and was also seen on the streets of Kalimpong. Sujoy and his crew will travel to Darjeeling after the Kalimpong routine is accomplished, according to sources from Pinkvilla.

The movie will be based on the novel The Devotion of Suspect X by Japanese novelist Keigo Higashino. It’ll be Kareena's first online project, as the upcoming film will be released digitally.

Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha the official Hindi adaptation of Tom Hanks' Forrest Gump, will also feature the star. Due to the epidemic, the film has already been delayed back multiple times. It is currently scheduled to be released in August 2023.
