Kareena Kapoor Khan records statement with Bandra Police following intruder attack on Saif Ali Khan

Saif Ali Khan sustained stab wounds during a home intrusion, and Kareena Kapoor is cooperating with the police in their investigation.

Following the assault on her husband, actor Saif Ali Khan, at their apartment early Thursday morning, Kareena Kapoor Khan has registered her statement with the Bandra Police. News agency ANI reports that police officers taped the remark at her apartment on Friday evening.

Mumbai Police's investigation and efforts

Thus far, the Mumbai Police have recorded over 30 statements related to the incident. The Mumbai Police have created 20 teams, including ten from the Crime Branch, to conduct the investigation. The Mumbai Police have confiscated the CCTV footage from the Bandra area and are currently interrogating three individuals. Thus far, the incident has not resulted in any arrests.

The Bandra Police Station initially detained and questioned Saif staff members in connection with the matter before releasing them.

Autorickshaw driver's account of the incident

The actor's auto-rickshaw driver, who rushed him to the hospital, went on to describe what transpired and how he helped. The driver told ANI that about 2 in the morning on Thursday, he witnessed a woman attempting to hail an auto-rickshaw. Shortly after, he approached the scene and saw the actor, drenched in "blood," emerge from the gate with a small group of others.

There was "bleeding" from the actor's "neck and back," according to the driver. At night, he took out his autorickshaw. At two or three in the morning, he noticed a woman attempting to hail an autorickshaw, but no one seemed to care. He could also hear cries for a rickshaw from within the gate. Near the gate, the autorickshaw driver did a U-turn and came to a stop. Out stepped a man drenched in blood and two or three others. After loading him into the autorickshaw, they made plans to visit Lilavati Hospital. The driver left them there, and only afterwards did he learn that he was Saif Ali Khan. Rana told ANI that blood covered his neck and back.

Details of the assault in Bandra apartment

An unauthorised person broke into Saif's 11th-floor Bandra apartment in the wee hours of Thursday and assaulted him. The trespasser allegedly confronted the actor's housekeeper at his property, which led to the confrontation. The scenario turned violent as Saif tried to step in, and the actor ended up with many stab wounds.
