Saturday was quite an eventful day for Kareena Kapoor Khan and her fans. In the morning, she was busy promoting the teaser of her upcoming theatrical, Crew. Later in the evening, she dressed up to attend an event in Mumbai. While news surrounding Crew continues to gain momentum, the recent development hints that Kareena talked about Kangana Ranaut, Deepika Padukone, and Vidya Balan – who are not a part of the film – at the event. Here is why.
On Saturday evening, Kareena Kapoor Khan graced an event helmed by ABP News Network in Mumbai. The actress thanked the media professionals at the venue for lauding her career graph and her contributions towards Bollywood.
During the conversation, she even acknowledged the charm of stars namely Kangana Ranaut, Deepika Padukone, and Vidya Balan, and how they helped in shaping Bollywood. Kareena said that many female actors have played strong and demanding characters in films.
“Be it Kangana, Vidya or Deepika or myself, we have always tried to stand for roles that have risen above (the tag of) ‘just being there in the film’. This development has changed the dynamics in the industry. Female actors now demand a certain role, fee, and position in the film. Thus today, things are different,” Kareena said.
Answering this question, Kareena first expressed that she is blessed to be married to Saif Ali Khan – who helps her stay grounded in life. Later, she said, “It is an interesting question. It is tough to survive in this world and not be caught up in the vicious circle of success and failure.”
“Luckily, my marriage to Saif has grounded me, given me comfort, and exposed me to the world outside films. With this development, I try to strike the right balance between my personal and professional life. It is difficult, I must say. But, I do make a constant effort,” said Kareena.
Meanwhile, if you are wondering when will Crew be released, let us tell you that the film will be out theatrically on March 29.
