Kareena Kapoor Khan is one of the most popular stars in the industry. In real life, the actress manages the roles of mother, sister and wife, but she believes her movies and their characters are quite vital in her real life. Recently, Kareena disclosed the factors she considers for the perfect project.

She has always been specific about the jobs that she works on, the actress told Hindustan Times. If a script intrigues her curiosity, she'll jump on board right away. Kareena also added that she is fortunate to be in a situation where she can follow her profession in the manner that she likes while still giving her family the attention and time that they require. For her, the ideal film has always been about the character and story, as well as the individuals who will accompany her on that film's journey, Kareena explained.

The actress enjoys being a wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend as much as she loves playing different personalities on screen, she added. She has discovered her balance and put forth a lot of effort over the last twenty years and what matters most to her now is how her family, friends, supporters and the audience sees her.

Kareena was last seen in the 2019 film Good Newwz which was her first on-screen appearance after having given birth to her first kid, Taimur Ali Khan. She now has projects like Laal Singh Chaddha Hansal Mehta's next and Sujoy Ghosh's novel adaptation in her kitty, after having her second child Jehangir.

The actress was questioned if she made a conscious decision to slow down in order to be present during her children’s growing up years. Having her children hasn't impacted the way she analyses scripts, the actress shared. She also mentioned that taking her time to choose the appropriate work should not be misinterpreted for slowing down.

“It's really about prioritising and time management. In the last two years, we've all gone through life-changing experiences all across the world, and it's helped us all recognise what's most essential”, says the Good Newwz actress.

Moreover, Kareena Kapoor Khan has been cast in Sujoy Ghosh's yet untitled thriller, which also stars Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma. The film marks her OTT debut.

The actress is preparing for the release of Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha dated August 11, 2022. Naga Chaitanya and Mona Singh both play pivotal roles in the film which sees Kareena as the female lead. The movie is the official Hindi remake of Tom Hanks’ Forrest Gump.

Karan is also a member of Karan Johar's Takht. The film features various actors like Anil Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor.
