The actresses shared the screen in the film, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, which also features Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan
Poo and Anjali have made us laugh and cry in the 2001 film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. The roles, played by Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kajol, respectively have been etched in the minds of the audience since. The two played sisters in the film and later, they shared screen again in the 2010 film, We Are Family. But it's now been over a decade, and we haven't been able to catch them together on screen. Fortunately, if not in a film or a series, the two were seen together, catching up on their lives on their way out of Mehboob Studios. It reminded the fans of the iconic duo - Poo and Anjali again.
The two were seen talking about the pandemic, their husbands, Ajay Devgn and Saif Ali Khan, and their babies. Kajol asked Kareena how was her new baby Jeh Ali Khan doing and she replied, with a smile that he's already a year old and how everyone tested positive for COVID-19.
Kajol also mentioned that she got tested positive too. The two shared laughs and hugged each other, before they left the studios in their respective cars.
Meanwhile, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham completed 20 years last year. It is available to stream on Netflix.
Kareena Kapoor Khan is awaiting the release of Laal Singh Chaddha, which is the Indian adaptation of Tom Hanks' 1994 film, Forrest Gump. Laal Singh Chaddha also stars Aamir Khan and Naga Chaitanya. She is also working on Veerey Di Wedding 2 by Shashanka Ghosh and Takht by Karan Johar. On the other hand, Kajol is shooting for the film, The Last Hurrah, which is inspired by true events, alongside Revathi.
