Karan Wahi opens up about challenges of playing Virat in Raisinghani vs Raisinghani, says 'The nuances of...'

Karan Wahi is currently being seen as Virat Choudhary in Raisinghani v/s Raisinghani. The actor has opened up about the challenges of playing a 'fiery' character.

Karan Wahi, a well-known name from Indian TV, has been doing OTT shows for a while now. The actor's last outing in the web space was Half Love Half Arranged with Maanvi Gagroo. As of now, he is seen playing the role of a lawyer in Aniruddha Rajderkar's web series, Raisinghani v/s Raisinghani. The actor, who essays the part of Virat Choudhary, has opened up about the challenges of portraying this character.

In an official statement, Karan Wahi admitted that it's a challenge to play the role of lawyer Virat Choudhary in Raisinghani v/s Raisinghani. The actor stated that the 'nuances of his character' are complex. However, he feels it is a refreshing change for him to play this part. According to him, Virat is a dynamic ambitious man, who wants to prove himself.

"There are a lot of layers to this diverse character and I am enjoying playing Virat everyday," he said in a statement. Karan added that he feels amazing about his transition of being a carefree chocolate boy on screen to essaying a fiery character like Virat.

Karan Wahi's reunion with Jennifer Winget

Meanwhile, Karan Wahi has reunited with Jennifer Winget for Raisinghani v/s Raisinghani. While Karan is seen as Virat, Jennifer essays the role of Anushka Raisinghani. The story of their web show revolved around their personal life and professional front at Raisinghani Legal. This series marked Karan and Jennifer's reunion after 15 years of their television show, Dill Mill Gayye. In DMG, they were seen as Dr Siddhant and Dr Riddhima.

Directed by Aniruddha Rajderkar, Raisinghani v/s Raisinghani premiered on SonyLIV on February 12, 2024. The first three episodes of the show are currently streaming on the OTT platform. The upcoming episodes will premiere on Monday to Wednesday at 8 pm on the platform.
