Karan Kundrra is currently basking with pride to be a part of the satire film Tera Kya Hoga Lovely which released in theaters on March 8. Starring Randeep Hooda and Ileana D’Cruz in leading roles, the film also marks Karan’s promising role in the supporting cast. The actor shared how the film delves into social stigmas and strives to shed light on the topic of dark skin. He also spoke about his work experience with costars and the crew during a conversation.

TV and film actor Karan Kundrra expressed his gratitude to be featured in the satire film Tera Kya Hoga Lovely, which was released on the special occasion of International Women’s Day (March 8). The Temptation Island host hailed praise at the film’s cast and crew for their impressive performances. He also felt that the film addressed a key stigma of “dark skin” that is prevalent in Indian society during a candid conversation with a news agency.

“It is a satire, it has got a very good message. There is a stigma regarding dark skin, and we have addressed it...It was an honor for me to be part of such a film," Kundrra told ANI.

The Kitni Mohabbat Hai actor also lauded his fellow actors from the film industry and theater backgrounds who added to the value of the project. Admiring the acting craft of Randeep Hooda, Ileana D’Cruz, Pavan Malhotra, and Geetika Vidya Ohlyaan, Karan said that he is honored to be a part of Balwinder Singh Janjua’s directorial venture.

Sharing some key insights into his quirky character, Karan revealed that he plays a pivotal character in the film, nicknamed Guggu, aka Gurdeep Dagar. His character is that of someone who values friendship a lot and would do anything for his friends. Guggu is a simple man who is Lovely’s childhood friend. Speaking about the name Guggu, Karan disclosed that the name was not even in the script, but people around him started calling him by that name, and hence Gurdeep turned to Guggu.

Tera Kya Hoga revolves around Ileana, who plays the titular protagonist, and her struggles to find a suitable match due to her dark skin tone. The film aims to address the issues of dowry and white skin obsession.
