Karan Johar has just completed watching Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan trailer. The film’s trailer is the most awaited. There has been a countdown to the trailer and it is set to release online soon. Karan took to Instagram to share his views on the trailer. The filmmaker, as expected, is in love with it. He, however kept the mystery alive.

What did Karan Johar post?

Karan shared that he saw the trailer through a mysterious Instagram story. He simply wrote, “I just saw the trailer of the century!!!!!!! iykyk.” The filmmaker was obviously referring to the much-awaited trailer from Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film.

What SRK said about Jawan recently

During his recent interaction with fans through AskSRK on Twitter, the actor spilled some details on Jawan. He revealed a part of the movie’s plot. When asked to share a tease about Jawan, SRK said that the film is about women. “No tease, the one word that drives the movie is ‘Women’ it’s a film about women made for men!! Hope all like the Mass and Class…. #Jawan,” he posted on Twitter.

What is Jawan all about?

There is no clear confirmation on the plot of Jawan. However, there are various links to the film being similar to the Malayalam movie, Jailer. The film saw a jailer live with five female criminals who have done different kinds of crime. He stays with them to help these women refine and make better choices in life.

Jawan is helmed by Atlee. It is SRK-Atlee’s first collaboration film. The movie also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra and Priyamani in pivotal roles. It features SRK in double roles. The movie will also see Deepika Padukone in a cameo appearance.

Interestingly, Jawan recently made headlines for its certification. There were a few changes made in the movie in terms of dialogues and scenes. ‘Ungli mat kar’ was among one of the dialogues cut down from the film. This irked the netizens, who questioned how the CBFC let Adipurush dialogues be, while editing Jawan dialogues on the other hand. Among scenes, a suicide and beheading scene was cut short upon.
