Karan Johar to direct Hrithik Roshan after two decades in an action film?

Karan Johar had earlier announced that he will be directing an action film soon. And now if reports are to be believed, the film will star the Krrish star, Hrithik Roshan. The film would mark the collaboration of the actor and the filmmaker after 21 years. The duo earlier worked together in the family drama Kabhie Kushi Kabhie Gham.

Johar, who is known for directing romantic and family dramas, would be helming an action for the first time. According to Peepingmoon, the film will be a large-scale action and love story. Further details on the film and its shoot are awaited. For the time being, Karan Johar has postponed the shoot of Takht due to the spike in the cases of COVID-19. He is currently busy with the shoot of Ranveer Singh-Alia Bhatt starrer Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.

However, the action film with Hrithik Roshan headlining it, is said to go on floors at the end of this year. The action flick is yet to be titled too.

Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan is currently busy completing the shoot of Vikram Vedha. He will be seen sharing screen space with Saif Ali Khan in the upcoming film. This would mark their second collaboration after the film Na Tum Jaano Na Hum. There is also a buzz about a sequel to the film War where Roshan was seen doing action sequences and shaking a leg with Tiger Shroff. The makers are yet to make an official announcement about the sequel. The hero will also be seen in the film Fighter alongside Deepika Padukone.
