Filmmaker Karan Johar and superstar Shah Rukh Khan have been good friends for years. The duo has worked on several films together including Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, and My Name Is Khan. Recently, the duo were spotted at the IIFA Awards announcement in Mumbai and rekindled their camaraderie with some funny moments on the stage.

Today, on September 11, Karan Johar took to his social media account and shared two happy pictures with King Khan along with a heartfelt caption. He wrote: “Big Brother, Guide, inspiration and family forever… not to forget a bonafide force of nature! Love you bhai!” He also added a few red hearts along with the caption.

When the duo united for the press conference, Shah Rukh Khan being the witty person that he is revealed that Karan told him that he won't be physically present during the rehearsals for the IIFA Awards. He said, “Karan told me he won’t be rehearsing for hosting, he’ll do it on Zoom. He said, ‘Bhai main Zoom pe kar lunga… main itna jaldi karta hu. Main toh itna hosting karta hu na.’ Chat show bhi host karta hai, film show bhi host karta hai… picture bhi toh bana mere bhai tu,’” SRK quipped, leaving the audience and Karan in splits. He further teased, “Kitna host karega tu.”

On the professional front, after giving three back-to-back successful films with Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki Shah Rukh Khan is currently working with Sujoy Ghosh for their upcoming film 'King.'The film will also star his daughter Suhana Khan. Suhana made her acting debut with Zoya Akhtar's The Archies and this will be the first time she will be sharing the screen space with her father.
