The Hoichoi Bangladesh series by Syed Ahmed Shawki will be dropped on December 22
The journey of the mystery man, aka Chanchal Chowdhury, that started in Part 1 of Syed Ahmed Shawki’s Karagar is likely to come to a full circle in its second part. Hoichoi dropped the trailer on Tuesday. The second part of the thriller promised to address a lot of the unanswered questions about the mysterious cell, 145, at a prison in Bangladesh.
The first part of the series is nothing short of a riveting thriller. There are supposed to be 325 prisoners in a correctional home in Bangladesh. One night, the jailer and his team find one extra prisoner at cell number 145 – a cell that has been under lock and key for 50 years. As the series progresses, it presents a lot more characters and backstories and the first part has a compelling cliffhanger ending. With overwhelmingly positive reviews, the first part has created high expectations from the viewers.
The trailer of the second part shows two simultaneous avatars of Chanchal Chowdhury. While one stays in the prison, the other starts explaining the plot by connecting dots. Jailer, Intekhab Dinar, and interpreter, Tasnia Farin, keep trying to explore the identity of the mystery man as he starts to manipulate them. We see a couple of new characters in the show. However, they are yet to be identified. Overall, the upcoming second part promises a lot of thrill too.

Talking about his excitement over the Karagar Part 2 trailer drop, Chanchal, “The response Karagar Part 1 received was phenomenal. The love, feedback, and appreciation really meant a lot to the whole team of Karagar. The second part packs a punch and the trailer just shows a glimpse of it. I have two very different get-ups in this part and while I can't reveal much about those characters, I can say that the audiences will love the way the story unfolds and hopefully we’ll be able to hold on to and increase the love that the first part received.”
