Kapil Sharma confirms Ed Sheeran's presence on The Great Indian Kapil Show - 'Can’t wait to show the world the humorous side of yours'

Ed Sheeran's recent visit to India ahead of his concert in Mumbai has made headlines for many reasons. However, one of them was indeed that the singer-performer met up with Kapil Sharma for a party. Soon after that, it was known that Sheeran had also visited the sets of the comedian-actor's upcoming Netflix series, The Great Indian Kapil Show. Sharma has confirmed that his show will feature the English performer-songwriter.

The Firangi actor shared a candid and sweet click with Sheeran, where they are both seen pointing towards each other. Sharma was all praise for the singer and wrote that his music has always been wonderful, but after meeting him, their admiration for the Perfect performer has only grown. Sharma also said that Sheeran has a kind heart, and his humorous side is something he can't wait to reveal to the world.

Sunil Grover reunites with Kapil Sharma

Meanwhile, Sunil Grover, who had a contentious and protracted falling out with Kapil Sharma, is returning to the show. When asked about it, the comedian-actor said that he used to get irritated, but now he doesn't anymore. Since Grover is aware of the truth, it is not his business how other people perceive or interpret things. Grover questioned the reliability of those pointing fingers at him. There is usually no need for an explanation, but if someone asks him a question, he will answer it. Just because it's their profession doesn't mean they have all the facts or a complete grasp of the subject. It is more attention-grabbing to write negative things. At some point, they will all get it.

On March 30, 2024, The Great Indian Kapil Show will make its eagerly anticipated OTT debut. Along with Sharma and Grover, the series will also mark their reunion with Archana Puran Singh and Krushna Abhishek, among others.
