Previously, KRG Studios distributed the Pawan Kalyan starrer Vakeel Saab in Karnataka and was recently associated with Nani's own production venture HIT: The Second Case (HIT 2, starring Adivi Sesh) in the same regard.
Telugu actor-producer Nani is set to enthral the audiences with the upcoming pan-Indian venture Dasara. The Telugu original is set against the backdrop of Singareni coal mines near Godavarikhani in Telangana and has been described as a pure, raw & rustic film that boasts all the elements of a mainstream entertainer. Keerthi Suresh stars as the female lead with Kannada actor Dheekshith Shetty of 'Dia' fame, Tamil actor Samuthirakani and Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko, too, playing prominent roles in the film. Veteran actor Sai Kumar is also part of the cast.
Dasara, which is out in theatres on March 30th, 2023, will also be releasing simultaneously in Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi. And joining the enterprising team is Kannada Film Industry's own KRG Studios which will be distributing the Telugu film in Karnataka. Premiere production and distribution agency KRG Studios, whose growing repertoire already includes many high-profile films like K.G.F: Chapter 2, 777 Charlie and Kantara, took to social media a short while ago to make an announcement regarding their association with team Dasara.
"Happy to Associate with #Dasara. A @KRG_Studios Release in Karnataka. Releasing in Hindi and all South Indian Languages," wrote KRG's co-founder Karthik Gowda in his tweet before revealing that Rakshit Shetty will be launching the Kannada teaser of Dasara on January 30th.
Previously, KRG Studios distributed the Pawan Kalyan starrer Vakeel Saab in Karnataka and was recently associated with Nani's own production venture HIT: The Second Case (HIT 2, starring Adivi Sesh) in the same regard.
As far as Dasara is concerned, the Srikanth Odela directorial encountered a title-clash situation when it was brought to light that the title 'Dasara' was already owned and registered by Kannada actress/producer Sharmiela Mandre (as early as September of 2020). Although the makers of the Telugu film had registered the title for the Telugu version, they were required to do the same for the Kannada dubbed version as well: Sharmiela Mandre is said to have approached the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce soon after to seek a resolution in the matter. Following this, the Telugu film Dasara is now being released in Kannada, Tamil and Hindi as 'Nani's Dasara'.
