Kannappa is actor Vishnu Manchu's dream project and will also feature Prabhas, Mohan Lal, and Akshay Kumar in cameos.
Manchu Vishnu is shooting for his dream project, Kannappa. The fantasy drama is being shot extensively in New Zealand and has already wrapped a new schedule. We at OTTplay have already reported that Prabhas will play Lord Shiva in this film, and the makers announced this.
Now, as per the latest update, Prabhas will not play the role of Lord Shiva, but he will be seen as Nadeeswara in the period drama. Going into details, Prahas himself has requested Manchu Vishnu that he does not want to play Lord Shiva and wants to do yet another role.
The reason behind this is that Prabhas is already playing an avatar of Lord Shiva in his new film Kalki 2898 AD and does not want to repeat roles. That is the reason he will be seen as Nandeeswara. The same was conveyed to the makers who happily obliged to the star.
