Schedule wrap for Kanguva
The Kanguva team is said to have filmed some heavy-duty action scenes choreographed by Supreme Sundar in this schedule. A picture of director Siva and the rest of the crew is now doing the rounds on the internet. We hear that Bobby Deol, who is said to be playing the prime antagonist in the film, was also part of the schedule. Combination scenes of Suriya and Bobby Deol are said to have been filmed though there has been no official confirmation on the same. The team is now gearing up for its Chennai and Bangkok schedule after a short break.

Suriya plays the son of spirit and fire
Suriya plays the titular character, Kanguva. A video, which revealed his look on the occasion of his birthday, portrayed Kanguva, as the saviour and king, who rises from the flames to save his people. His menacing look had already set the internet on fire and so is the way he asks, "Nalama?" towards the end of the video.

Kanguva, a pan-India project
The film's producer KE Gnanavel Raja had stated earlier that when the project was narrated to him, he didn't want to restrict it to Tamil and hence, decided to go pan-India. The film will be made in ten languages and on a grand scale. The period portions are set 1, 500 years back and the film is said to have many high-octane action sequences set in a battlefield .
