Kanguva: Suriya to sport three looks in Siva’s film? Here’s what we know

Kanguva, the upcoming Suriya starrer directed by Siva, is set to hit the big screens in November 2024. The National Award-winning actor is reportedly set to sport three looks in the film.

Suriya is teaming up with director Siva for his next outing, Kanguva. The upcoming project, which marks the actor-director duo’s first onscreen collaboration has been slated to have a grand theatrical release on November 14, 2024. As reported earlier, the period fantasy film is set in different timelines, and majorly features the leading man in the role of an ancient tribal leader. However, recent updates suggest that Suriya is appearing in three different looks, in the film.

Director Siva and producer KE Gnanavel Raja, who recently kickstarted the promotions of Kanguva made some interesting revelations about the film in a recent interview with a leading Tamil media. According to Siva, leading man Suriya is all set to sport three looks in the film. Interestingly, the makers have only revealed the actor’s looks in the tribal portions of the film, so far. The talented actor’s second look in Kanguva, the modern man avatar, is expected to be out in a couple of days.

In the chat, director Siva revealed that Suriya tried different looks for his characters as the emotional journey unfolds, and it has come out well. Along with the past and present avatars, the supremely talented actor is also sporting a new look, reportedly for the portions that establish the connection between both timelines. The filmmaker stated that the movie will bring new dimensions to the popular actor, both in terms of looks and performance.

AI for Suriya’s dubbing

As reported earlier, it has been confirmed that Kanguva is getting released in eight languages, including Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, English, French, and Spanish. Instead of going for a dubbing artist, the team is planning to recreate leading man Suriya’s voice in every language, using advanced AI technology. The latest updates also confirm that the period fantasy film will have a massive theatrical release across the globe, on over 3500 screens.
