Kanguva – Suriya and Siva to wrap up the shooting in January 2024? Here’s what we know

Suriya and director Siva have reportedly kickstarted the final schedule shooting of their ambitious project Kanguva. As per the reports, the team is planning to wrap up the project in January 2024.

If the latest reports are to be believed, the cast and crew members of Kanguva kickstarted the final schedule shooting of the highly anticipated project in Hyderabad, recently. The sources close to the Suriya starrer suggest that the team is planning to wind up the pending portions of the period fantasy film by the end of January 2024. However, there are no official confirmation on the same so far.

Suriya, Bobby Deol and others join Hyderabad schedule of Kanguva

The latest reports suggest that director Siva and his team are currently busy filming the pending portions of the film, which feature leading man Suriya and antagonist Bobby Deol, at Hyderabad’s Ramoji Rao Film City. Along with the actor duo, many supporting cast members of the movie are also a part of the Hyderabad schedule of the movie. However, Suriya’s portions will be wrapped in a couple of days. After wrapping up the Hyderabad schedule, the team might take a short break for a few days, before resuming the shoot.

All about Kanguva

Earlier, Kanguva was slated to hit the big screens in the summer of 2024. The latest updates suggest that the team is planning to change the release of the Suriya-starrer to the second half of 2024 as the post-production works might not get completed by April. The makers are not in a hurry to announce the release date of Suriya and Siva’s passion project. More updates on the same are expected to be out, in a few days.

Disha Patani plays the female lead in the movie. Kovai Sarala, Jisshu Sengupta, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Natarajan Subramaniam, Anand Raj, Ravi Raghavendra, KS Ravikumar, Deepa Venkat, and others essay supporting roles in the movie. Devi Sri Prasad has composed the songs and the original score for Kanguva. Vetri Palanisamy is the director of photography. The period fantasy film is jointly produced by the banners Studio Green and UV Creations.
