Kanguva new release date out: The Suriya-starrer also features Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, and Yogi Babu, with music by Devi Sri Prasad.

The much-awaited update is finally here! The Suriya-starrer Tamil film Kanguva, directed by filmmaker Siruthai Siva, will be finally hitting the big screens on November 14, the makers of the film announced on social media.

Kanguva is an upcoming Tamil film starring actor Suriya in the lead role. The film is written and directed by Siruthai Siva in his maiden collaboration with the actor. Backed by Studio Green, Kanguva was earlier scheduled to hit theatres on October 10. However, after the makers of Rajinikanth-starrer Vettaiyan also announced the release on the same date, team Kanguva decided to bow down and shift their release date.

On Thursday, the makers of Kanguva announced the much-anticipated release date. The film is all set to hit big screens on November 14, it has been revealed.

Kanguva also features actors Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Yogi Babu and others. National Film Award-winning composer Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music for the film. It is to be noted that Kanguva marks Suriya’s first release in two years. He was last seen as Rolex, making a guest appearance in Kamal Haasan-starter Vikram.

Kanguva’s streaming rights have been bagged by Prime Video, where the film will stream after its theatrical run. Kanguva is expected to expand across timelines with Suriya to be seen in two avatars. Much about the plot has not yet been revealed by the makers.

In Kanguva, actor Karthi is expected to make a cameo appearance towards the end of the film. But his role is reportedly lengthier in the sequel, which is yet to get a release date. If the news is indeed true, it will be the first time the brothers will be sharing the screen space, further piquing interest in the film.

It is to be noted that Bhairathi Ranangal, starring Shivrajkumar, is releasing on November 15, thus clashing at the box office.
