Kanguva, a much-anticipated film starring Suriya, is set for release on November 14 after being postponed from its initial October 10 date due to Rajinikanth's Vettaiyan.

Kanguva, the upcoming film starring Suriya in the lead role, is scheduled to release on November 14. Initially set to be out on October 10, the makers had pushed the release following Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan also coming on the same day. While the work for Kanguva is going at full pace, the team is also working to present the film in 3D format.

The makers of Kanguva are leaving no stone unturned to deliver the best quality of the film. In line with this, the makers are now working on the film in 3D format. Kanguva is scheduled to hit theatres on November 14 and the post-production works are happening briskly.

It is to be noted that Kanguva was expected to come ahead of its present release date (November 14), on October 10. However, after Rajinikanth-starrer Vettaiyan was also announced the same day, the Suriya film was pushed to a later date.

The makers have assured that Kanguva will be a full-blown theatrical experience, with the film made on a grand scale. Directed by Siruthai Siva, the film is backed by Studio Green and marks the director’s first collaboration with Suriya.

Kanguva also features actors Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Yogi Babu, and others. Actor and Suriya’s brother Karthi is also expected to make an appearance in the film. National Film Award-winning composer Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music for the film. It is to be noted that Kanguva marks Suriya’s first release in two years. He was last seen as Rolex, making a guest appearance in Kamal Haasan-starter Vikram.

Kanguva’s streaming rights have been bagged by Prime Video, where the film will stream after its theatrical run. Kanguva is expected to expand across timelines with Suriya to be seen in two avatars. Much about the plot has not yet been revealed by the makers.
