The highly anticipated Kanguva first single is gearing up for its grand release. Interestingly, the single, which has been titled the ‘Fire Song’, reportedly has a RRR connection.
Kanguva, the period fantasy film which stars Suriya in the titular role, is gearing up for a grand release on October 10, 2024. The project, which marks the National award-winning actor’s first collaboration with hitmaker Siva, has been creating quite a stir on social media with its promising teaser and posters. As per the latest updates, the makers are all set to drop the much-awaited Kanguva first single on social media soon. The song, which is named the ‘Fire Song’ has a connection with SS Rajamouli’s RRR.
The long-awaited Kanguva first single will be revealed on July 23, 2024, on the special occasion of Sleading man Suriya’s 49th birthday. The makers of the period fantasy film confirmed the big update recently, with an official social media post. Later, the team also revealed a special video, featuring the National Award-winning actor, along with director Siva, music composer Devi Sri Prasad, lyricist Viveka, and the other team members. In the video, the team revealed that the special number has been titled the ‘Fire Song’, to the much excitement of the cine-goers.
Interestingly, the Kanguva first single, Fire Song has a connection with RRR, the SS Rajamouli directorial which stars Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles. As per the reports, the Fire Song is choreographed by Prem Rakshith, who composed the steps for the iconic Academy Award-winning number ‘Naatu Naatu’. As per the reports, director Siva and his team are keen to not repeat the existing style of film songs in Kanguva, as the movie is set in a fictional, medieval age.
Suriya is set to appear in a double role, as the titular character Kanguva, and a modern man from the present, in the upcoming Siva directorial. Disha Patani plays the female lead in Kanguva, which stars Bollywood star Bobby Deol as the lead antagonist. Kovai Sarala, Jisshu Sengupta, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Natarajan Subramaniam, Anand Raj, Ravi Raghavendra, KS Ravikumar, Deepa Venkat, and others appear in supporting roles. The period fantasy film is jointly produced by the banners Studio Green and UV Creations.
