It looks like the shoot for Suriya's Kanguva is happening at a brisk pace. The latest we hear is that the team has moved to the final leg of its shoot, with the last schedule happening in Thailand.

Kanguva team lands in Thailand
The team is currently in Thailand and the shoot is expected to go on until the end of this month. Since a part of the periodic portions are yet to be canned, they will be wrapped in this schedule as the team will be shooting in some dense forests. If the shoot does get completed a bit earlier, Suriya is expected to attend the audio launch of his brother's most-awaited film, Japan, which is likely to happen on October 29. Suriya, will thereafter, begin the shoot for Sudha Kongara's next.
Kanguva glimpse sets internet on fire
The glimpse of Kanguva featured the actor as a mighty untamed warrior, who would leave no stone unturned to protect his people. According to the makers, this was the first time that the glimpse of a Tamil film was presented in English. The glimpse also emerged as one of the most watched videos on the internet.
A mighty star cast
Suriya plays the titular character, Kanguva, the son of fire and spirit, who rises from the ashes like a phoenix to save his people. Bobby Deol is said to be playing one of the prime antagonists in the film. However, the team has remained tight-lipped about the same. If the news is indeed true, Kanguva will mark the Bollywood star's debut in Tamil. This apart, Natty Subramaniam, Disha Patani are also part of the film. The film is also Disha's debut in Tamil.

The pulsating music of Kanguva is by Devi Sri Prasad. Cinematography is by Vetri Palanisamy and editing is by Nishadh Yusuf. The film is bankrolled by KE Gnanavel Raja under the banner of Studio Green.
